Calling all CSRs, Technicians, Assistants, PMs and Doctors! If you have to communicate with colleagues, this topic is for you...

TOPIC:

Communication: A Double-Edged Sword

Communication holds immense power— capable of fostering authentic connection or causing distress. In the workplace, poor communication can amplify psychological distress, while effective communication can buffer it. Often overlooked amid daily demands, communication under stress becomes transactional, focusing on short-term gains rather than resolving conflicts or building relationships. This seminar explores core communication skills to strengthen team connection, enhance trust, promote psychological safety, and create a culture of open, candid dialogue.

OBJECTIVES:

At the end of this seminar, learners will:

01

Define workplace wellbeing.

02

Compare and contrast transactional and relational communication.

03

Describe two core communication skills to promote connection and describe one connection buster.

We bridge the gap between GP and ER

  • We provide an option for quality care for patients that don't need ER services

  • We have little to no wait time

  • We schedule same/next-day appointments only

We stick to what we are good at...

  • We don't offer routine care services

  • We handle all injury and illness that can be treated as outpatient

  • We stabilize patients for transfer when needed

  • We encourage clients to seek a Primary Care Provider or Specialist when indicated

We’re local

  • Scout was founded to support our community and colleagues in Primary and Specialty Care

  • We are here to help!
