In this session, we'll explore why rudeness happens and how the qualities that make veterinary professionals exceptional caregivers can also make them exceptional communicators. Through practical strategies and real-world examples, participants will gain tools to navigate challenging interactions, strengthen relationships, and help create a culture of respect and psychological safety within their practice.

Dr. Holmes is a veterinarian, dog mom, kid mom, and Co-founder of Scout Veterinary Urgent Care. She is a certified AVMA well-being educator and invited speaker at regional, national and international conferences.
